Florida State University International Programs

At International Programs, we pride ourselves on 60 years in study abroad. 60 years of students journeying around the globe to study every imaginable subject from international leaders in their fields. 60 years of students embracing new cultures, languages, and customs, and returning home as fully engaged citizens of the world. We pride ourselves in facilitating these journeys, and we are committed to making each student’s experience a story worth telling. Make the world your campus. Study abroad with us!

Students choose from programs in more than 20 locations and can study abroad or intern during fall, spring, or summer in any of their years at FSU. These programs can meet major and minor requirements, allowing students to continue on their degree path while making the most of small class sizes, individualized attention, and the opportunity to use a plethora of diverse cities as their classroom. All classes earn FSU credit and are taught in English with the exception of foreign language classes. Many classes are taught by distinguished FSU faculty, who are passionate about their field and study abroad location and return year after year to share its cultural richness with their students.

Regeneron Science Talent Search

The Regeneron Science Talent Search (Regeneron STS), a program of Society for Science & the Public (Society) is the nation’s most prestigious science research competition for high school seniors. Since 1942, the Society has provided a national stage for the country's best and brightest young

scientists to present original research to nationally recognized professional scientists.

As the new school year approaches, we thought you might know a few students with great research projects (from any year of high school) who deserve to be recognized for their work, and might be interested in a top prize of $250,000. Interested students, and teachers, should sign up here to learn more.

The application opens on August 1, and will remain open until November 15, 2017 at 8pm ET. Three hundred entrants will be named scholars and will receive $2,000 each; 40 finalists will be named, awarded $25,000 each, and will be invited for a week long competition in Washington, DC in March of 2018. Check out this story on last year’s top winner, Indrani Das, and the highlights video from 2017 to learn more about the amazing top 40 finalists—teens who are future leaders in STEM fields.

We hope to see your students apply this fall to the 77th Regeneron Science Talent Search.
